Requirements
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience and hold a bachelor’s degree.
Transcripts
Transcripts are required, as well as a graduation certificate.
GMAT or GRE
Both GMAT and GRE scores are accepted.
Foreign Language Requirement
Non-native English speakers and applicants whose undergraduate degrees were not taught exclusively in English are required to submit English Language scores.

Essay Description
Applicants will need to submit 2 essays, with an optional third one. These essays can be completed directly from the application form.

Global Business Competition
Forming their own team, students compete against other teams all around the world. Competitors are asked to solve real world business issues and create innovative business ideas. Winners can receive numerous internship opportunities. The competition takes place yearly all around the globe.
Exchange Program
Adventurous students have the opportunity to embark on global exchange programs. This experience lasts a full term and can be located at top business schools all around the globe. From Duke Fuqua School of Business to ESADE Business School, students can build lasting relationships and network in a multi cultural environment.
First Year
The curriculum is comprised of 52 credits, with 7 required courses. Before the school year commences, students take 3 accelerated courses where they learn the fundamentals of Accounting, Data Analysis, and Python programming. Flexible electives are also available for students to tailor their MBA program to best suit their needs and career aspirations.
Second Year
During the second half of the MBA program students have access to Full-Time summer internships and job seeking interviews. They can also embark on global expeditions overseas.
Danyang Xie
Professor Danyang XIE is acting Dean of the Society Hub at HKUST and is currently the Chair professor at the department of economics. His research interests include Ecnomic Growth and Development, Macroeconomics, and the Chinese Economy. His research has appeared in numerous journals. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago.
Utpal Bhattacharya
Professor Utpal Bhattacharya is the chair professor at the department of finance at HKUST. His research interests include Bheavioural Finance, Empirical Corporate Finance, Household Finance, and international financial markets. He received his PhD in Finance from Columbia University.
